Berlin based internationally acclaimed artist Murshida Arzu Alpana's solo exhibition titled 'Contemplation' began at Dhaka Art Centre in the city's Dhanmondi area yesterday.Foreign Secretary Mohammad Mijarul Quayes inaugurated the exhibition as chief guest, while a writer, curator, collector of contemporary art and Director of the Goethe Institut Angela Gruenert was also present as special guest on the occasion. Eminent painter Prof Rafiqun Nabi chaired the inaugural session.The exhibition will end on March 16 by a closing ceremony titled "Antaranga Sandhya" on that day at 7:00pm at the DAC. The closing ceremony will include the artist's reaction of her poems and vocal music performance.The gallery remains open for all from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.Alpana’s solo exhibition begins
