Kate hates nude scenes

The Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet, who has appeared totally naked in Titanic and Mildred Pierce, thinks flashing the flesh in front of a camera is a profoundly bizarre and unethical thing to do.

She said, “I hate it! Listen, make no mistake, I just get on it. I just go in and say ‘let’s do it,’ and boom! If you complain about it or procrastinate, it’s not going to go away. It’s a profoundly bizarre thing to do.”

She adds, “As actors you talk about it all the time. You can literally be tangled in sheets. It’s sort of unethical if you think about it in those terms.” Despite admitting to always feeling nervous before she takes on a new project, the 35-year-old star, who won the 2008 Academy Award for Best Actress in The Reader, hopes her jitters continue as the day she finds a role easy she has vowed not to bother anymore.
