Mukti performed first movie ‘Tumi Achho Hridoye’ had been released on November 2, 2007. After four years she has started to work in a new movie yesterday. Mukti is popularly known as a TV actress.

She entered into the showbiz arena by participating in a beauty contest titled ‘Binodon Bichitra Photo Beauty Contest.’ Now she wants to establish her career in the film industry.
While sharing her feelings to perform in movie after four years Mukti told this correspondent, “I am basically interested to work in film media. For the last four years I didn’t get good story, as I could not perform in any movie.
Now I am working in Shahadat Hossain Liton's movie that story is good. I hope viewers will enjoy the movie.”
At present, Mukti is working in Liton’s movie “Tomar Aamar Prem-er Badhon” in which Shakib Khan is performing against her.
Sahara, Shahid Chowdhury, Misha Swadagar, among others, are performing in the movie.
