Nargis Akhter’s upcoming movie is called “Golay Faash”.
The movie is based on a novel by Shailash Guho. Mohammad Rafiquzzaman has developed the script for the movie. Director Nargis Akhter informed that she will work with a lot of new faces for the movie. They will be introduced soon through a press conference.
Nargis Akhter’s film “Putro Ekhon Poysawal” is at the final stage of editing. Emon, Shayna, Farah Ruma, Oni, Rina Khan, Misha Sawdagar, Nasrin, Aliraj and, Babita have acted in this film.
“Short Cut e Borolok” and “Poush Maasher Piriti” are two more movies of Nargis Akhtar that are almost at its wrap up stage.
Nargis Akhter’s widely acclaimed film on AIDS "Meghla Akash" was selected among the best of films (out of 600 entrees) at the International Women's Film Festival in Germany. She also produced and directed a telefilm on AIDS in Bangladesh called 'Ajana Ghatak' contained motivational messages on HIV/AIDS prevention.
