Promising TV actress Shimana is becoming matured in acting day-by-day by performing in mega serials and daily soap. She is now more matured actress rather than her debut career. She is also satisfied in her acting career.

For this reason, she is working now applying selective method while performing.
Three years ago, Shimana started to act in role of ‘Samia Chowdhury’ instead of Shoshi in popular daily soap Gulshan Avenue, which is now being aired on Banglavision. After that she has became a popular face to the viewers in the television screen. While acting in Gulshan Avenue she got offers to cast in other daily soaps. But she didn’t get any challenging role, as she didn’t agree to work in other serials.
Shimana will perform in new daily soap ‘Agnipoth,’ which will be directed by Nima Rahman, with the direction of Tonmoy Tanshen. In this daily soap, Shimana will perform in role of Shama Mirza who is pride of her wealth. But she has repentance to the poor.
While sharing her feelings to work in ‘Agnipoth’ Shimana told, “Shama Mirza is a challenging role. After reading the story I liked it. I hope viewers will also enjoy my this new work.”
‘Agnipoth’ will be produced by as usual Tuhin Barua. Shooting will start from March 28 at Ananda Bari in the city’s Uttara area. Shimana hosted a cine-based magazine ‘Cinenama’ is being aired on Maasranga Television every Fridays at 5:30pm. Therefore, she has acted in independence war based play ‘Tin Dakat’ recently. However, Shimana acted drama serial ‘Tin Bhuban,’ directed by Sadeq Siddiqui, is waiting for broadcasting in satellite channel now.
