Hollywood has been courting Bollywood quite ardently of late, by not just the usual naach gaana, but by also spicing up their wardrobe with that 'something Indian'.
At her IPL performance, the California Gurl matched up to all our Munnis, Shielas and Chammak Challos. Why, she even looked the part. Dressed like a magnificent peacock, which though is her patent outfit for her "California Gurls" tour, was a lot more befitting in our country - where it's the national bird. She desi-ized it with transparent harem pants, traditional bridal bindis over her eyebrows, and added a maang tikka to complete the look. Take a closer look and you can even see jhumkas, and her bangles could easily have belonged to any Chandni Chowk thela. Her sexed-up outfit still had traces of embroidery and sheesha-work, finishing it all with cute little jootis. Now that's a desi girl!
