He is a top model, fashion icon and more. When it comes to modelling and style his name surfaces time and again. An active face in the industry since 1993, Nobel has been featured in countless fashion magazines, magazine covers, TV adds and so on. One of the successful models in the industry, he is an inspiration for those seeking a way into the world of glamour and fashion. So, how did it all begin? What is he busy with these days? Seeking the answers, we bring our readers in conversation with Nobel.

Speaking about his latest projects, Nobel says, “Presently I have offers to appear in two TV commercials in hand, I am deciding whether to do them or not. Apart from that, the audience will see me as a member of jury in the reality show Top Model Hunt which will be aired on Channel i. The TV show aims at discovering promising models. Apart from me, beautician Kaniz Almas and Tania will be featured as judges in the TV show. The programme will go on air from the last week of March.”
“If one wants to take modelling professionally then he/she might need a quick re-think about his/her career choice as, in Bangladesh, modelling still has a long way to go to reach a point when one will be able to earn a living by modelling only,” says Nobel
Speaking about whether he is facing any competition from the new comers, Nobel informs, “I do not grab whatever I am offered. To me selection of work is very important. I opt to do the ads on the basis of their storyline. I faced competition at the beginning when I began my modelling career. I have seen many new faces in modelling but only a handful of them have made it. Consistency is a crucial thing for achieving anything.”
Nobel is not seen regularly on the TV as he has free time for modelling during his weekends only. For the rest of the week he has to remain busy with his job.
Going back to his early times in the industry, Noble says, “I used to do ramp modelling. I was selected for shooting a TV commercial and from then there was no looking back.”
He paired up with Mou and conquered the hearts of millions through their regular TVC appearances. They are considered the best pair in modelling till date.
While speaking about his long modelling career of eighteen years, Nobel shares, “I am very choosy with regard to my selection of the projects and that may be the reason for my few appearances on the TV screen in so long a career.”
About the emergence of many new directors in the ad making industry, he expresses, “Young directors always come up with unique and different ideas. As a model, I always enjoy working with the young directors.”
Nobel is an earnest fan of Bangladesh Cricket Team. He tries not to miss a single game of the home team. Nobel wishes a good world cup venture to the Tigers’.
