One day he admitted his daughter in a dancing school at gandaria.after that she was enrolled in Shishu Academy from where she learned a lot of dancing techniques.she was loved by her tutors.Her mother or father used to take her to the dancing school everyday.

In a very short time she captured the hearts of many audience and she participated in various sectors of the media starting from modeling then drama and then in movies. She started her career in an advertisement of cold drinks where she was the co-artist of Riaz.

Shokh’s first TV advertisement was of Banglalink Desh-5 where the theme was a wedding ceremony. She danced in it. Piplu Khan was the director and the co-artists were Sarika, Ambrin, Farhan, Shuvo and Niloy. And nowadays she can be seen in a miking advertisement directed by Adnan and co-artist was Niloy.
Shokh also did the Banglalink cricket world cup sms advertisement under the directions of Kiron Mehedi during the occurrence of the cricket world cup in Bangladesh. When asked if we will get to see her in some new advertisement or not, she replied, “ I finished working in an advertisement for Walton a few days back. People will get to see me in two new
advertisements of Walton pretty soon. One of them is for Walton air-conditioner and the other one for Walton television. Both the advertisements have been created by Shonok Mitra. The advertisements are jingle-based. I will be seen with film actor Ferdous in the Walton air-conditioner advertisement and opposite to Nirob in the Walton television advertisement. Both the advertisements were shot in Kolkata, India. These two ads will be telecast within a few days. Now, I am eagerly waiting to see my audience’s response. I am hoping they will like these two ads also.”
She has her footsteps in the world of drama also, along with advertisements. She acted for the first time in the drama ‘Rakkhosh’. Then she got the chance to act in ‘Odbhuttore’ directed by Shipon, ‘ Dibaratri Khola Thake’, ‘Bhoot-er Goli’ and some other dramas. Other than these dramas she was highly praised by the audience because of her wonderful performance in the dramas ‘Fifty-Fifty’ by Iftekhar Ahmed Fahmi, ‘FnF’ by Ridwan Rony.
At present,a serial drama “Chad er nijer kono alo nei” is being telecast in NTV which has been written by Anosul Haque and directed by Mostofa Jamal Raj.When we asked Shok about her present working situation, she replied, “A few days back I finished my work on a single episode drama named Shesh Chithi. In this drama my co-artist is Shojol. This drama directed by Joyonto Mo Le would be telecast soon in television. Other than these I have worked in some more single dramas and still now some shooting is going on.Till now I have worked in a few dramas since I am choosy about the scripts and I look for standard ones.
Few days back Shokh has stepped in to the cinema world. The name of the movie is “Bolo na tumi amar”, directed by F I Manik where Shokh’s co-star was Shakib Khan. This film was praised by the crowd. While answering to the question of whether she will be seen in more movies in future or not, she replied, “of course there will be more because I loved working in big screen. There is a big difference in working in dramas and big screens. My first movie ‘Bolo na tumi amar’ has been nominated in Meril superstar competition this time. Its a big achievement I got while being nominated with superstar Mousumi. I feel blessed to be with her, though I did not get the prize because I am big fan of her. I wont be working in more than one or two films in an year.
Among modeling, drama and cinema, in which field she feels comfortable to act in, when asked, she replied, “ actually it is three different kinds of fun in working in three different fields which cannot be explained easily.”
During the 150th birthday celebration of Rabindranath Tagore, Shokh’s special dancing programs was telecast on Ekushe tv and Rtv a few days back. Dancing and acting lies in Shokh’s existence. Her father or mother always remains with her just like holding the little girl’s hand and taking her to the shooting.
