The very talented Bangladeshi Film Actor, Ferdous has acted in quite a few movies in 2011. The list includes Ontorddhan, 69 Patla Khan Lane, Tokhon basanta, Hothath Sedin, Jolrong and, Ek Cup Chaa, which he himself produced.
"Shobhoner Shadhinota (Shobhon's Freedom)" is going to be his first movie of the year 2012. In the movie he will play the role of a freedom fighter. Ferdous informed that though he acted in freedom fighting related movie before, but this is the first time he will act as a Freedom Fighter.
Talking about the storyline of the movie, Ferdous said that the story is based on involvement of teenagers in the freedom fight. He seemed very excited about his role which as the character in the movie revolves around inspiring young minds to get involved in the freedom fight, training them, going to war with them: overall a great character.
Manik Manabik is directing the movie based on the novel by Rashid Haider. The story has a part where it shows that the Pakistan Government wanted the students to sit for H.S.C examination to deceive the world that there was nothing wrong but some teenagers stood against this plan. And Freedom Fighters came forward to help them. The movie is backed up by Information Ministry of Bangladesh.
The shooting of the movie has started in Bengal Studio, Dhaka from January 6. A total of 13 students of Notre Dame College have acted in characters of the rebellious teenagers. Raiyan is acting as Shobhon in the movie. The other prominent actors in the movie are Nipun, Wahida Mallick Joli, Khayrul Anam Sabuj, Ataur Rahman and, Chitralekha Guha.
