Hridoy Khan new solo album - Chowa launched

The launching ceremony of Hridoy Khan’s new album Chhowa was held at a restaurant in Dhaka on 4 April. The album is sponsored by BRAC Bank. Zeeshan Kingshuk Huq, Head of Corporate Affairs of BRAC Bank, was present at the ceremony.


The ceremony was also attended by people from music and cultural arena of the country as well as senior officials of BRAC Bank and Agniveena, producer of the album.

Speaking at the launching, Syed Mahbubur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of BRAC Bank, said, “BRAC Bank always supports initiatives to enhance as well as sustain the tradition and cultural identity of the nation. Our support to this album is a testament to that continual support. We firmly believe in talent and potentials of our youth musicians.”

Hridoy Khan said, “My first solo album Bolna was a big hit. With the support from BRAC Bank, today my second album is out now. I believe with such a support Bangla music will be more enriched in coming days.”

BRAC Bank has always been supportive to quality Bangla music. This year BRAC Bank sponsored Fahmida Nobi’s album titled Akash O Somudro Opar with lyrics written by Selim Al-Deen and Krishnokoli’s album Alor Pithe Adhar. BRAC Bank also launched a poetry audio CD on liberation war and patriotism titled Tomar Potaka Jare Dao.

Hridoy Khan’s Chho(n)a releases on 25 March

Chho(n)a- the second solo album of Hridoy Khan, will be hitting the market on 25 March.
The album includes eight songs all, of which were composed and arranged by Hridoy Khan. Kabir Bakul, Shafiq Tuhin, Milon Mahmud and Gunjon Chowdhury wrote the lyrics of the songs.


Speaking about the album, Hridoy Khan says, “The album includes songs for the listeners of all ages. Majority of the songs are based on soft melody and hip-hop. I hope listeners will find something new in this album.”

The songs of the album includes Ruposhi, Eki Chho(n)a, Dao Na Voriye, Tumi Eley, Aaj-o Ki, and Aral. The album will be released under the banner of G-series.
